Ethan is the founder of GEM and brings over 25 years of experience in corporate finance, administration, business development, strategic planning, and enterprise infrastructure development. His career spans diverse industries including cable and broadcasting, biomedical engineering, banking, education, digital media, aerospace, healthcare, and energy.

A native of Antigua & Barbuda, Ethan has spent most of his life in the United States, working across business operations from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies. Throughout his journey, he has maintained a deep passion for the natural sciences and environmental stewardship. As an undergraduate, he wrote weekly columns on environmental issues and was instrumental in introducing recycling initiatives to his campus community.

In addition to leading GEM and serving as senior business architect and financial consultant with his former employer, Ethan sits on the external advisory board of the Undergraduate Research & Innovation program at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). In this role, he mentors students in refining, developing, and commercializing STEM innovations.

Ethan holds an educational background in chemical engineering and finance. Beyond his professional commitments, he enjoys traveling, history, philosophy, and the outdoors.

Corbett has been with GEM from the earliest days and brings more than 50 years of engineering, project management, and general management experience supported by qualifications in engineering and commerce from Australia and Britain. The first half of his career was the management, establishment, and re-engineering of manufacturing, construction, fabrication, foundry, and engineering businesses in Australia and SE Asia. Thereafter, he established a successful track record in project and contract management for large mine, port, rail, and supporting infrastructure development projects in the Australian resources sector, the largest of which was AUD9.6 billion. Corbett serves as GEM’s chief technology officer and head of engineering. He has a background in chemical and mechanical engineering and commerce.

Timothy Greene is a seasoned executive leader with over 30 years of experience driving operational excellence, organizational transformation, and strategic growth across economic development, infrastructure, and agribusiness sectors.

As Chief Operating Officer of Green Energy Management (GEM), he leads multi-division operations advancing clean energy and sustainability initiatives across the Caribbean. He oversees procurement, technology, facilities, and people management, ensuring operational efficiency, innovation, and alignment with regional decarbonization goals. Timothy has been instrumental in advancing GEM’s governance and operational excellence, building a high-performance culture and delivering sustained, measurable impact.

Throughout his career, Timothy has held senior leadership roles across public and private sector organizations, while also serving on advisory boards that shape strategic and industry-level decision-making. As Chief Executive Officer of Invest Saint Lucia, he led national investment and economic development strategy, driving institutional transformation and implementing high-performance financial and operational systems that strengthened governance, improved efficiency, and positioned the organization for sustainable growth.

A strategic and results-driven leader, Timothy excels in aligning vision with execution, building strong stakeholder relationships, and leading high-performing teams.

Christopher has dedicated his career to improving quality of life through technological progress. He has worked with governmental organizations in countries across the globe at all levels of economic development to discover “win-win” opportunities to adopt advanced healthcare technologies. Through this work, Chris has established trans-national cooperations and investments that lead to profits and quality of life improvements. Chris has been involved in cleantech since his PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Cambridge on modeling groundwater contamination remediation using magnetic resonance imaging. At GEM, Chris will continue in his tradition of fostering win-win business outcomes with all of our stakeholders including ports, governments and strategic partners. We welcome Chris to the GEM team to help us bring our best results to our customers.

Halle leads business development and stakeholder relations at GEM, advancing sustainable solutions across the Caribbean maritime and energy sector. She works with ports, utilities, and regional decision-makers to forge partnerships that enable cleaner port operations through renewable integration, shore-to-ship power, and grid decarbonization initiatives.

Her career spans renewable energy, thermal power generation, and e-mobility, with contributions to high-impact projects across Jamaica and the wider English-speaking Caribbean. As Engineer Manager – New Business, she supported the acquisition of 110 MW of renewable assets and advanced utility-scale project planning. At Evergo Jamaica, she directed the rollout of 65 electric vehicle charging stations, strengthening Jamaica’s e-mobility infrastructure and shaping the island’s EV landscape.

Halle holds a B.Eng in Industrial Systems and an MBA from Heriot-Watt University. Combining technical expertise with strategic vision, she brings leadership and commitment to the region’s energy transition, positioning GEM as a trusted partner in delivering resilient, sustainable infrastructure.

Trevaun has an extensive portfolio of start-up experience. He serves educational and financial interests in the Caribbean by starting and operating the Caribbean’s first online regional private school, and is a passionate activist for entrepreneurial development in the Caribbean. Trevaun is the 2019 UNOPS Hackathon winner, and the 2020 winner of the Eastern Caribbean Start-up Investment competition hosted by Daymond John – the Shark Tank judge. Having won other start-up pitch competitions hosted by organizations such as the Caribbean Development Bank, USAID, and the US Embassy in Barbados. Known for his ability to turn theoretical plans into well-oiled operational machines, Trevaun consistently delivers efficiency and innovation to the companies he aligns with.

Ranja is a passionate innovator and PhD Biologist. Her global vision and passion for oceans and animals has taken her around the globe, with home addresses in eight countries from Namibia to Canada to New Zealand. Ranja is founder and CEO of the biotech Mermaid Bio, whose very name references Ranja’s commitment to oceans and the life within it. She has built and led scientific teams to answer important questions, and is an inventor on multiple patents. We welcome her to the GEM’s team as our business intelligence lead and blue economy adviser.

Makaio I. Boodram is a Computer Science graduate from the University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus in Antigua. With hands-on experience in the university’s IT department, he supported faculty, staff, and students while helping maintain campus-wide infrastructure. Makaio also contributed to a regional research project as a Data Entry Assistant, organizing and analyzing over two decades of financial data from Caribbean companies.

He is proficient in technical troubleshooting, data entry, and the Microsoft Office Suite, with a foundational knowledge of programming. Makaio brings strong communication and organizational skills to every team he joins, alongside a passion for music, gaming, and continuous learning through personal coding projects.
