Elk Hill Solar Project
Overview
The Elk Hill Solar project in Franklin County, Pennsylvania was completed in 2022 and now generates 48 MW of energy. This output is equivalent to powering approximately 6,300 homes each year. The project reduces carbon emissions by an estimated 48,000 metric tons annually, comparable to removing 10,400 gasoline-powered cars from the road.
Beyond its environmental benefits, the Elk Hill project also supported the creation of roughly 200 jobs during its construction phase.
