Commodore Solar Project
Overview
Completed in 2022 for Vanderbilt University, the Commodore project generates 35 MW of power. Located in Bell Buckle, Tennessee, the installation spans 238 acres. Its output is equivalent to supplying electricity for approximately 6,000 homes and offsets about 70% of the University’s greenhouse gas emissions. The project also supported the creation of roughly 250 jobs during its construction phase.
